Hello again!

To expand a bit on who I am aside from my work and add a little bit of personal information to my portfolio.

As you might have noticed, my name is Kim. I'm aspiring to be a procedural / technical artist and aid my colleagues in area's where they could use an extra hand, to make big tasks smaller and hopefully make everyone's work as relevant as possible.

My origins lay in Breda the Netherlands, after the grueling years of high school, I had to choose which direction I wanted to continue my life in.
Due to my fascination with pretty games/movies/animations and the like, especially when it came to the behind the scenes extra's: I found the International Game-development Art & Design (aka IGAD) program at Breda University of Applied Sciences (at the moment I applied still called NHTV).

During IGAD I used the first two years to catching up to speed and learn how game development goes around, mainly focused on the Visual Art area.
I discovered that my interests in the art development was broad to say at least. And that if I wanted to be able to spend enough time on everything, some parts needed to become more optimized than doing it all by hand.
I ended up enjoying trying to find those short cuts, especially with Houdini due to it's ability to connect to many of the other programs, and used my 3rd and 4th year to develop those skills.

After this I have worked in Romenia for a year and a half, where I've worked on some VR/AR and mobile projects. Before starting my masters degree back at BUas expanding my skill set to also include a little bit of virtual production.
